IBQ-MEC-514 is built on a base of 94% Polyamide CORDURA® and 6% Elastane Lycra®, in a 260 g/m² construction designed to combine mechanical strength with mobility.

CORDURA® provides the fabric's signature toughness: durability, abrasion resistance, stability, and the ability to withstand heavy use. The addition of elastane allows the fabric to move with the body, especially in flex zones such as knees, elbows, and shoulders.

In its version CAM-DWR, IBQ-MEC-514 also adds the possibility of a camouflage print finish, integrating technical performance and visual functionality for tactical applications.

Technical values that support the application

The technical data sheet for IBQ-MEC-514-CAM-DWR shows a tensile strength of 2,500 N in warp and 1,500 N in weft, along with a tear resistance type trouser shaped of 150 N in warp and 100 N in weft.

In terms of mobility, the fabric offers 25% elasticity and 97% recovery, Two key values for garments that must adapt to movement without permanently deforming. Furthermore, it features pilling 4-5, minimum abrasion resistance of 150,000 Martindale cycles and a result of spray test ISO 4-5, providing protection against surface moisture and use in variable conditions.
