TEXTILE PRODUCTION
YARN
At IBQ, innovation and sustainability are our core principles. In our lifestyle sector, 95% of the fibers we use are natural, such as wool, linen, and cotton. For technical fabrics, we focus on minimizing non-renewable synthetic fibers by using recycled alternatives. Collaborating with top brands and advanced yarns like Dyneema®, CORDURA®, and Kevlar®, we continually innovate. From selecting premium yarns to experimenting with fiber blends, we enhance performance and versatility to exceed industry standards.

We exceed the most demanding standards of labor protection
At IBQ we are experts in fabrics, even the most specific and technical ones. Thus, we have developed fabrics that have passed the ISO 469 standard, one of the most demanding on the market.
These fabrics are primarily designed for the production of protective clothing for firefighters. Clothing that must respond perfectly to the extreme situations that this group faces.
We have developed a series of fabrics to meet the demanding specifications of the EN ISO 11611 standard. Fabrics designed to withstand the conditions of use that are usually found in professions such as welding, among others. However, due to the versatility of our fabrics, their use can go beyond welding clothing; they can be used to make garments resistant to short-term contact with a flame, radiant heat or electric shocks, among other properties.
The regulations define two classes of protection. Class 1 corresponds to protection against less dangerous situations involving molten metal splashes and radiant heat. Class 2 applies to more dangerous situations. Among our fabrics you can find pieces that comply with both classes. Depending on the needs, the most suitable fabrics will be selected, which will be used to make fireproof clothing for welders, clothing for use with thermal cutting machines, thermal gouging or thermal spraying, among other applications.
At IBQ we have developed a series of fabrics that respond to the most demanding conditions. Some of them are specially designed to be used in clothing for protection against heat and fire, complying with EN ISO 11612 regulations.
These fabrics have far exceeded the durability factors required by the standard. Their design is intended to protect against brief contact with a heat source, which may be convective, radiant, conductive, molten metal splashes or a combination of any of these.
As a result of our commitment to R&D, we have managed to develop a series of fluorescent and retroreflective fabrics that meet the technical requirements of the regulations for high visibility clothing.
This European standard specifies the requirements for high-visibility clothing that allows the user's presence to be visually signalled. Some of our fabrics have been designed to pass the demanding tests that this standard sets out, which are particularly strict in terms of colour fastness and maintenance of properties over time.
