Minimizing our footprint, maximizing our commitment

Responsibility

We take responsibility for delivering eco-conscious solutions, using organic materials, recycled fibers, and sustainable alternatives. Our commitment goes further as we continuously strive to minimize water, energy, and gas consumption throughout the entire manufacturing process. By working closely with our customers, we ensure their needs are met through environmentally and socially responsible choices.

Proximity

We cherish our deep-rooted connection to the local community and Spain’s rich textile heritage, and we are dedicated to supporting the regional economy. Whenever possible, we collaborate with local suppliers and partners, reinforcing our community while also reducing our carbon footprint by minimizing transportation distances.

Traceability

Our information system provides complete control over the traceability of materials and processes, guaranteeing the origin and route of each product. We are prepared for the implementation of the Digital Passport, as we want our customers to know the complete history behind each piece.

Efficiency

We employ the best available techniques in our manufacturing processes to minimize water consumption per unit produced. Our commitment to sustainability drives us to continuously review and enhance our methods to optimize the use of natural resources. We maximize the use of process water and strive for the highest efficiency to reduce our carbon footprint. Additionally, we manage waste responsibly, implementing recycling and reuse strategies to further minimize environmental impact.

Ecodesign

We set high standards for sustainability in product design. By prioritizing quality, we ensure a long product lifespan, promote durability, and reduce the need for end-of-life recycling. We believe the best way to contribute to sustainability is by creating products that last and remain useful over time, thereby minimizing the environmental impact associated with production and disposal.

OUR CERTIFICATIONS

We comply with a range of certifications for production, health, safety, origin, and traceability, demonstrating our strong commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

While we already meet these standards, we continuously strive for improvement and seek new ways to reduce our impact wherever possible.

Production, health and safety

Bluesign® certification guarantees the elimination of harmful substances from the very beginning of the textile production process. Through collaboration with brands, manufacturers and chemical suppliers, it guarantees rigorous safety and environmental sustainability standards throughout the supply chain. This certification facilitates the creation of textile products that meet the highest ecological and safety standards for consumers.

The OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 guarantees that textile products have been tested for the presence of harmful substances and are safe for human health. This certification covers everything from yarns to finished products, and guarantees that each component has been assessed according to strict safety criteria.

Origin and traceability of materials

Textile Exchange’s GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification is an internationally recognised standard that verifies recycled content in textile products and promotes best practices in the supply chain. It focuses on ensuring the traceability and integrity of recycled material, covering aspects such as environmental, social and chemical management. It is a valuable tool for brands and manufacturers committed to sustainability, as it allows them to demonstrate their commitment to the responsible use of resources and the reduction of waste in the textile industry.

The Organic Content Standard (OCS) certification verifies the organic content of textile products, guaranteeing that materials come from organic sources and are handled responsibly throughout the production process. This certification is essential to ensure the authenticity and integrity of organic products in the textile industry.

The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) is a non-profit organization working to improve the sustainability of cotton production worldwide. Its goal is to promote more sustainable agricultural practices, reduce water and chemical use, and improve the working conditions of cotton producers. BCI collaborates with farmers, textile companies, and other actors in the supply chain to promote the cultivation of better quality and more sustainable cotton.

The European Flax™ certification, also known as Masters of Linen, is a quality designation for textile products made with flax grown in Europe. This certification guarantees that the flax used in production meets strict quality and sustainability standards, including raw material traceability and respect for the environment and labor rights. Products with the European Flax™M certification are often valued for their durability, softness, and contribution to the local economy and the environment.

Genuine Merino® is our own brand that we have created to guarantee our fabrics made with native Spanish Merino wool. All the native Merino wool we process is acquired through a collaboration and support program with the livestock and rural community via the National Association of Merino Sheep Breeders, which ensures its origin. The traceability of our production process is audited and guaranteed by Bureau Veritas thanks to a tracking program specifically created for US.
