CALPE

CALPE is engineered from 100% Polyamide CORDURA® in a 185 gsm plain weave, which enhances the fabric's structural integrity and durability.

The fabric has a high tear strength, abrasion, snagging and pilling resistance, coupled with significant water repellency and quick-drying capabilities. With its relatively lightweight, it serves well as a versatile main fabric.

CALPE is primarily used as a main fabric and for light reinforcement in products that demand high durability, such as outdoor and adventure gear, and bags. Its robust properties also make it suitable for protective clothing that requires an outer layer capable of withstanding harsh environments. To enhance comfort against the skin, consider pairing it with a soft lining or laminating it with a more comfortable fabric.
